This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My advisory class is a group of incredibly fun individuals looking to increase their literacy skills through reading fun and exciting books on a daily basis in order to become college ready. These scholars spend over 4 hours a week reading with me. I couldn't be more proud of them with all of the reading they have already completed so far this year.

My Project

These books will be used to fill my advisory library. I think it is important to have a wide range of different level books and genres for our scholars to be able to choose from.

I want my library to be as diverse and inclusive as possible.

I believe these titles I have chosen will help get our classroom library on the right track towards meeting all of my students needs.

I have told my students about some of these books I have requested and they are extremely excited. I cant wait to be able to add these titles to our classroom library.
