This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I have a very diverse group of hard-working, determined 2nd grade readers, mathematicians, and scientists. I work with my scholars daily so that they can understand that they can accomplish anything despite being in a Title 1 setting. As they grow in our classroom, they learn to work together regardless of their different backgrounds and interests.

My scholars are always pushing to be the very best and learn as much as possible.

They enjoy reading and participating in interactive activities in each lesson and I enjoy working on making sure they have all the materials necessary for success.

My Project

The items in this project with help my students who are so diverse and have different learning obstacles. The Math Folder Game Libraries will provide a more hands-on approach for my students struggling with mathematical concepts and help them to soar, also with the Magnetic Mathematics Manipulatives. The English Language Development Skill-Building Centers will provide my ESL students to work on better understanding of the English Language during small groups.

The donations given to this project will help my diverse scholars in very diverse ways.

By implementing more engaging ways to involve students in their learning, it will help them to be more interested and excited to learn.
