Diverse Literature Surrounds Students With Mirrors and Windows

My Project

It has never been more important to fight racism and implicit bias in the world. Books are valuable teaching tools and I am asking for a multicultural and diverse collection to read aloud to my students. Literature that reflects diverse identities like the books in my project will help to build an inclusive classroom community where all students are accepted and celebrated. Through thoughtful and engaging conversations, I hope to help students find their place in the world and to learn to see the world from the perspectives of others.
