My Students
Our first and second graders in room 128 are energetic, enthusiastic, and super social. They are so enjoyable to be around. They love being involved in the learning process and want to succeed.
Learning never stops!
Our school is located in northwest Milwaukee. Most of our families struggle with poverty, which creates difficulties in having supplies needed for learning at school and home. Our goal is to provide an equitable education for each student by using DonorsChoose to be able to have the resources and supplies needed for them to reach their full potential.
My Project
As we continue to develop into readers, I have many students transitioning into early chapter chapter books. Our classroom library is in need of books that students will want to read from cover to cover.
These books feature diverse main characters with plots that are fun, inspiring, and funny!
For reading development, readers need to be able to identify with characters in their stories. I want our students to be able to connect to their reading. Lastly, these books enhance the enjoyment of reading as well. Please consider donating to this project.
