Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
By incorporating these materials and activities into my kindergarten classroom, I can create a learning environment that fosters respect, understanding, and appreciation for all individuals, regardless of their background.
The variety of books will be used to provide a child-friendly perspective on the Civil Rights Movement, helping children understand historical events and their impact while celebrating their cultural heritage.
The crayon sets will provide a diverse range of skin tones, encouraging children to represent themselves and others accurately in their artwork.
The wooden puzzle and plush diversity dolls will allow children to play with toys that reflect their own identities and the world around them.
