My Project

Creating a classroom where students learn to love reading is one of my biggest goals. Students see my excitement for reading, and they have thankfully picked up on that love. Over the years, I have worked to add diverse books to our classroom library. I want students to be able to find a book that is perfect for them, something they love or can relate to.

These books, that you can help provide, will empower our students and give them the opportunity to read books with diverse historical figures that they can relate to and learn from.

This year, my students' favorite book bin is the one about historical figures, which is why I chose the titles I did. They love to learn about different people.
