Help me give my students more diverse books like The Princess and the Warrior and We Are Water Protectors to help students connect to their culture and learn about different cultures.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love how diverse and different all of my students are! I need more books to reflect the wonderful cultures and backgrounds my students come from. Books and music are a fantastic way for students to get to know each other, and feel proud of their heritage. I am hoping to bring more diversity and inclusion into my music room with more diverse books.
Diversity and inclusion are integral to all loving classrooms.
