Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My fourth graders are kind, curious, smart and creative. We have a lot of fun learning together!

We believe being bilingual is our superpower and we are not only proud of our Hispanic roots, but want to become assets and leaders in our community.

My Project

Books are powerful, they shape our minds and hearts. They are seeds that grow compassion, kindness and fuel dreams. Books can inspire and help us create empathy and a better future.

I want my students to see themselves in the books we read, and also peek into other's experiences.

My 4th grade class is proudly bilingual. I teach Hispanic children, and I believe representation matters. At the same time, books can expand our horizons and we can ignite the wildest dreams. The stories I've selected will help us reach that goal.
