Our school may be small, but it is mighty! Every child has capabilities, talents, and strengths; sometimes, all it takes is exposure or motivation.
This project will reach 120 students within the 7th & 8th grades at RAMS.
Middle school is a hard time. Our students come from diverse backgrounds that make these middle schools years crucial to their development. They all have a think win-win attitude and do their personal best to contribute to our classroom community.
My Project
I am writing this project on behalf of the 7th & 8th Grade team at our middle school. We strive to provide our students with the best education we possibly can. Collaboration is VITAL for our goal of a cross-curricular education to be achieved. That is why we would like to provide students with reading material that covers a wide range of topics.
We are looking to receive funding in order to buy books for our students so that they can broaden their horizons to new and exciting things!
Since we are a part of a school district experiencing budget cuts, we do not have an updated library or a full time librarian. We, as their 7th and 8th grade teachers, do not want them to miss any opportunities for growth. Reading is absolutely an opportunity for them to explore interests, provide entertainment, and increase their intellectual capabilities.
