My Project
Trimester 2 is a very exciting time in second grade! These young readers have worked hard over the last several months to improve their decoding and fluency, and many of them are now ready for chapter books! Our classes are launching book clubs where students meet with peers to read, discuss, and write about books.
This project will provide diverse, culturally relevant, compelling texts for our book clubs to read together.
We can't wait to dive in and read about the adventures of Mia Mayhem, Jasmine Toguchi, and other new favorites.
