Dive Into Reading!

Help me give my students the materials they need to be successful readers because I am a first year teacher and feel that my room lacks the appropriate reading materials needed to foster a love of reading.

My Students

My students are from South Jordan Utah. My academic support class helps a group of diverse learners access the curriculum using specially designed instruction. My students are the cutest 1st and 2nd graders I have ever seen.

I am a first year teacher and I am so excited to get to know my students better this upcoming year.

My Project

These leveled readers will help my Special Education students learn to read by giving them a variety of books designed for their reading level. These books will help create phonological awareness and decoding skills in my students. These books will be used in the classroom as well as sent home to read with parents ( and returned).

These books will help build the skills my students need to read on grade level .

These books will also help foster a love of reading in my kiddos by letting them choose stories that interest them!
