Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a special service provider working with students with special needs, these supplies will support their goals and improve their strengths to become as independent as possible in the classroom, along with their peers. Adapted pencils and scissors provide a stepping stone while they develop grasps, and putty will strengthen their hand muscles. Games and puzzles are also helpful to increase fine motor skills as well as visual motor skills, which carry over to the ability to produce legible handwriting. This is my 5th year with this Title I school district, and these students/community deserve the best!
