My Project

The goal is to provide students with hands-on experiences in math, gardening, and science, as well as arts and crafts materials and general supplies, which are running short at this time of year.

I am not sure why the district chooses to go through donors rather than funding the classrooms directly, but I am grateful for the assistance.

I am working to complete this quickly before funding runs out so that my students can take full advantage of what may be available.

Our class has been working on fractions and many of the items I have requested will help with this understanding. These include: Lakeshore Building Fractions Activity Center, hand2mind Foam Square Color Tiles, Dry Erase Erasers, EXPO Low Odor Dry Erase Markers, Black, Maverick Playing Cards,

hand2mind Rainbow Fraction Measuring Cups, EXPO Low Odor Dry Erase Markers, Assorted Fashion Colors.

We are also working on science goals. Supplies that will help us include a mass Stacking Set, Euler’s Disk, hot-to-go Reusable Heat Packs, and Leitee 100-piece Bounce Balls.

We also have a class garden that the birds have been getting into. Insect Netting Bags should help with this.

Our class has also been working on sewing and other crafts. We will use th
