Help me give my students an enhanced online environment for learning, the use of headphones with their computers will help create a distraction free working space at home.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students attend a Pre k class in a southside Chicago public school. They are anxious to learn new things and explore the world around them. When teaching young children online, especially english language learners, it is important to be able to give instruction in an environment with as little distractions as possible so they can fully grasp the intentional learning activities being provided .
I want to help provide an online environment for my students that will enhance their learning and listening experiences.
My Project
Like many students learning from home right now finding a distraction free zone for learning can be difficult, especially if there are multiple children in a household trying log onto their classroom.
If children can be provided with their own headphones to plug into the computer it would help eliminate some of those distractions at home, giving them better opportunities to focus on the tasks at hand.
When school goes back into in - person learning the children can bring the headphones to school to use for their personal use which will limit the spread of germs as well.
