Distance Teaching: Successful From Anywhere!

Help me give my students monitors and a docking station so we are able to hold class meetings and include everyone both at home and at school.

My Students

My students are 21st-century learners who LOVE technology. They love to learn and are excited to try new things.

I am fortunate to work with all students from kindergarten through 6th grade and love sharing new technology with them throughout their time in elementary school.

These students are curious, hands on learners, who are eager to learn more about technology this coming year - whether it is at home or at school.

I work as a technology teaching coach for two elementary schools. I help teachers to learn the best technology teaching strategies so that even in these challenging times they are able to teach their students to the fullest.

In addition to working with teachers, I help students learn digital citizenship skills to use technology responsibly. Technology has always been my passion. I believe that, now more than ever, students need to be versed in using technology to become better students for the future.

My Project

With this project, I can help my teachers learn how to create masterful distance learning lessons that will really help our students go further than they thought they could! I will also be able to support students who are choosing to learn from home this coming year.

Teaching from a distance has been very hard for both teachers and students and I hope that I can teach the teachers strategies to really reach their students even from miles away.

I would like to get a docking station and monitor so that I can be there for my teachers and students in the best way possible. Working from home has been a great challenge these past few months. I help about 50 teachers and 1200 students! Trying to multitask and serve my teachers as best as possible, this will really help.

Teachers can still give masterful lessons from home. My hope is to be able to be there for my teachers whether that means from home or at school. Distance learning is tough but that is no reason to give up!
