My Students

I have 26 excited gifted students in my classroom ready to learn. Besides whole class instruction, I incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating to meet the needs of each student. Students' learning is like building blocks of knowledge. Some blocks have more weight than others. All blocks will work together to build a foundation of lifelong learning. I am very excited to help my students build the Fourth-grade block of learning.

With giftedness comes boundless enthusiasm.

My students are highly energetic, eager to learn, and have an insatiable curiosity. They have a constant need to move and move around the classroom to foster their learning. For me, it is exciting to see them grow and discover their world.

My Project

In this unique time of Distance Learning, teachers have to come up with new ways to make learning accessible to our students.

In my daily virtual meetings with my students, it became very obvious that I have to find more creative ways for delivering my lessons to give my students greater understanding and better access to the curriculum.

The Apple tablet with the stylus pen would give me this medium. I would be able to write and explain on a virtual whiteboard helping them learn, while keeping my students engaged.
