This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are amazing first graders in a dual immersion school. I have both high and low performing students, some even receive additional support academically throughout the week. But, they are all very eager to learn, ready to ask questions every day. It is very positive to see how exciting to learn my students are.
These little scholars have a love for school, reading and learning.
They amaze me everyday in class with their questions, behavior and classwork. I am more than happy to be their teacher this school year.
My Project
I want to give my student to opportunity to express themselves through Art. Through these difficult times of social distancing we are all experiencing different emotions. Now just imagine how children must feel during this time, their world was has just turned upside down. Through distance learning we have brought back one kind of normality into their lives. But I know they are going through so much at this time and I would like to supply my student with tools that would allow them to create art. To create their very own masterpieces. This will allow them to have an outlet of expression through Art.
