This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My classroom was affected by the Coronavirus pandemic when we were no longer allowed to enter the building. My students and I left for Spring Break and never returned to our regular school setting. Students did not have basic materials at home to use due to most of our population being at or below the poverty line.

My Project

These materials will make a difference in my students' lives because their families will not have to worry about purchasing them. A majority of the students that I serve live at or below the poverty line. You can help by donating so no student goes without supplies during virtual learning. We will utilize the notebooks for alphabet study, the white printer paper will be used to create at home independent learning.

While we navigate our new normal, teachers have to adjust as well.

I need a selfie light and a flexible tablet mount for virtual sessions.
