My Students

The students at our school are special because they are realizing their potential in the EdTech world. Our students are engaging with technology to be creative communicators, knowledge constructors, innovative designers and global collaborators. We are preparing our students to be empowered learners who show empathy.

Making connections with technology means building background in the real world.

This year we are focused on the ISTE Standard: Digital Citizen. Learning about their role in the online environment helps students see themselves as citizens in digital spaces.

My Project

These materials will make a difference in my students' learning because it will help me model some techniques students can replicate at home. By having an iPad and Apple Pencil I can support teachers and students with examples of how to complete art projects, fill out worksheets, or model mathematical thinking.

This project will also help with integrating the ARTS which is essential for students social-emotional learning and creativity.

I plan to utilize these materials to show students how to express their artistic side as they create stories and illustrations with Adobe Spark and the Sketches App. I have seen a lot of success with students in the past with this type of project but wasn't able to be precise due to the absence of a pencil.
