This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are amazing! I am fortunate to co-teach a blended class with the EdSpecialist. We will have 36 students that are in need of basic school supplies to support their distance learning.
Distance learning will be a challenge, but I'm trying to give my students most items we would have available in class.
My Project
These items will help my students successfully complete assignments while away from the classroom. Many of my students do not have scissors or a pencil sharpeners at home. The items will help them complete assignments and help them feel successful in these difficult times while not having in person learning.
Many of my lessons include a hands-on project to culminate the units in language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies.
Students enjoy showing what they've learned by creating their projects, no matter what their skill/ability level or language ability. Thank you!
