My Students
My students are amazing 1st and 2nd graders who always want to move up reading levels and become more fluent in math. They are constantly learning new strategies to be more successful in these areas. When a strategy challenges them, they do not give up.
My students are inquisitive and fascinated by any new knowledge they gain.
There are plenty of gasps and sounds of disbelief when they hear a new fact or find a pattern that helps them grasp the content.
My Project
My students currently follow a hybrid model of learning, which means they learn from home half of the time. When they learn from home, we work on foundational skills that will help them be more fluent in reading and math. I differentiate lessons and activities to meet their individual learning needs.
The many interactive distance learning activities on Teachers Pay Teachers will help my students stay engaged during their lessons.
I will adapt and use these teacher-created distance learning activities both synchronously and asynchronously. This way, students can continuously work on skills needed to meet their grade's standards.
