This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students live in a poverty-stricken, urban neighborhood. Many come from broken and unstable homes. They need the structure that school provides.

I want to give my students the structure they need to be successful

during distance learning. My students are trying their best to attend virtual meetings and upload assignments to graded. I want to be available to help them whenever they need it.

My Project

I want to give live instruction to my students. My students deserve to get the help they need during distance learning, so they won't fall behind. This is especially important for my students who have special needs. With a new laptop, I can give the same instruction that I do in the classroom.

This is a difficult time for our students and they need as much help as they can get.

With a new laptop, I could hold virtual classes and make step by step videos for each art lesson and communicate with parents more easily. I will also be able to use it with my Smartboard as I teach in the Art room.
