This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am a Special Education teacher at a Title I public school in the Bronx. I work in a 12:1:1 classroom with students with various disabilities. My students are multi-sensory learners who benefit from the use of visual anchor charts during lessons.
Currently, I teach from home via my laptop and printer.
I print out various materials for my live and pre-recorded lessons and if possible would like to get toner for my printer.
My Project
These materials will help me provide better lessons for my students with disabilities by creating colorful visuals that will address many of their management needs. I can print anchor charts for ELA and Math lessons.
In addition, it will provide me with adequate materials that I am lacking at home.
I currently am using a very small whiteboard and running low on toner for my printer which I need in order to produce the anchor charts my students need. Thank you in advance for whatever assistance you can offer me.
