This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach PreK students in a Title I school in Baltimore County. For most of my students this will be their first experience in a classroom setting. I hope to foster a love of learning and excitement for coming to school each day.
My PreK students are inquisitive learners that come to school each day excited for a new adventure.
They love to dance, draw, sing, and read. We work each day to foster independence, reading, math, and social emotional skills.
Any donations will directly impact the lives of my students. I can't thank you enough for your generosity!
My Project
My students badly need some basic supplies for distance learning. This project will put crayons and markers in my student's hands. I will be able to give each of my students math manipulatives needed for counting and basic math. Each student will receive stickers to create an alphabet book for developing early phonics skills.
These basic supplies will help my students with the challenge of distance learning.
My students struggle each day to gather supplies needed to help them learn. This has been a tough year for many of my families and they truly appreciate the help.
