My Students

Our class consists of sweet, creative, and active 6 and 7 year old students who come to school excited about learning. My first graders love to move around and love when a wide variety of technology is incorporated into their daily instruction.

Each day I strive to make learning rigorous yet captivating in a positive learning environment.

I love the enthusiasm first graders bring to school and hope to create life long learners who have only positive memories from their school days.

Hands-on learning is becoming more and more important in the classroom. It’s one thing to be able to read and write about what you are learning. It’s another thing to be able to apply it.

Hurricane Michael has left a lasting impression on our community. My sweet first graders have been through so much over the past 2 years. After finally gaining some positive momentum from our Hurricane Michael recovery, we are now facing a COVID set back.

My Project

While this school year is not beginning the way most of us had planned, I am looking forward to a new challenge. I am so excited to be teaching a whole new group of first graders, and I am beyond blessed to be their teacher. I wish to give them the best possible learning experience while engaging in a comfortable, safe environment. As the needs of my students change, I must change and adapt my classroom to fully engage and reach every child. Whether the learner is at home or in the classroom, the laptop stand and goose neck clamp will enable all students to engage in daily lessons. The headphones and stylus pens will allow each child to have their own personal set in order to prevent the spreading of germs.
