Help me give my students supplies and resources for a successful distance learning experience and then be able to carry this forward into their summer learning projects.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
These uncertain times have affected everyone in the community. Although people have been affected in many different ways, one thing is certain, what we all knew as our "normal" is no longer the same.
My students were suddenly asked to continue their education remotely via, devices that they may not have had access to.
My school district has worked tirelessly to ensure that connectivity would not become an issue for students by lending out mobile devices whenever possible.
My Project
Distance learning is a huge obstacle for students, their families and educators. Having these materials will help my students become more engaged in lessons.
My students will be able to use the resources being requested to conduct effective, successful, and engaging virtual lessons now and while completing their summer learning projects.
This can be accomplished through the use of technology such as computers, webcams, Zoom and Microsoft Teams to name a few.
With these resources, my students will have the materials they need taken to them so that they can continue the learning experience over the summer while not adding the stress to their families to supply the materials.
