My Students

Our students come from five different elementary schools, and the diversity of the school is amazing! The diversity in our school provides us with a unique opportunity to reach students from many different backgrounds.

Only 10% of our students have access to reliable internet, so distance learning is a challenge.

At our rural, high poverty school district, our students are using both paper packets and digital resources to continue their educational journey.

My Project

In this uncertain time, there is one thing I know without a doubt. I miss my students! Every day I try to find ways to keep them engaged and let them know they matter to me. This project will help me continue to reach out with engaging topics and hands-on demonstrations to help them stay engaged.

The document camera, printer and ink will allow me to continue creating eye-catching, engaging materials to use in our weekly video lessons.

The post cards would allow me to send uplifting messages, reminding my students that they are important and missed.
