Dissect, Calculate and Learn

Help me give my students the tools they need for dissecting specimens in science class and calculating complex problems in math class!

My Students

My favorite thing about my students is their desire to learn. I think it is so neat when they are actually interested in learning what I am trying to teach them. In my opinion, we can help feed their desire to learn buy making the education experience fun and interesting to them.

I teach science and math at the high school level.

Some of my classes are at the basic level and some of my classes are honors courses. They each have their strengths and you really do get to experience a diversity of learning styles and interests when your courses are divided as mine are.

My students try very hard in class and I want to do everything I can to make their educational experience fun and easy.

My Project

I teach zoology class and my students love to do dissections. These dissection trays will help my students dissect their specimens more efficiently and help provide a safe and clean lab environment. In my math classes, we are constantly doing complex math problems in which the calculators can provide great assistance. They can also be checked out for students who are working from home whether they are learning virtually or just home for quarantine. These calculators allow the students to visually input and see fractions and exponents which allows for much faster learning and greater understanding. The printer will allow me to print high quality resources in color that I can distribute to my students. The scanner aspect of the printer will allow for efficient and clear uploading of assignments and materials to send to students who are learning from home. The printer will also allow me to print high quality images that the students can use for animal poster projects. The mobile whiteboard will allow me to display formulas and learning examples for the day to help my math students with their assignments.
