My students need display materials including 90 each of black, mouse and hazelnut media boards, 20 foam presentation boards, 30 rulers, 18 watercolor pads, and assorted mounting corners to show off their photographs/artwork for art shows, hall displays, and class critiques.

Photography IS a strong language, and since so many connect with photographs, it is important to be able to view them on the walls. Photographs say a lot about a student body and its personality.
Their photographs show how passionate and caring they are, how much school spirit they have, as well as show the people that support them, nurture them, and help push them to be the person they want to be.
Their photographs are strong, powerful, and full of life! Every school should have a voice, and theirs is a strong one! My students need the resources to show and share their voice with their community. They need display materials.
My Project
I am requesting a variety of display materials including 90 each of black, mouse and hazelnut media boards; 20 foam presentation boards; 30 rulers; 18 watercolor pads; and assorted mounting corners to show off my students' photographs/artwork for art shows, hall displays, and class critiques. This project will help my students show off that wonderful VOICE through their photos. It will give them a professional way to display that voice on the walls of their school. It will help them understand how to present their work to their peers, their teachers, their student body, and the school community, as well as teach them how to have a VOICE through an image.
Having a way to display that student voice is a important thing, one that students should have and know how to use.
This project will help my students feel that their voice matters, and that displaying their artwork and photos is a way to show that beautiful voice to the school community. Overall, having a way to display their work will be a positive one for not only the students but everyone who sees them, and that is a powerful thing.
