Displaying My Knowledge

My students need post it chart paper to display their thinking and also envelopes to store their on going projects.

My Students

My students come from a variety of economic and ethnic backgrounds. Within my classroom, students speak a variety of languages. As diverse as our students are economically and culturally, they are diverse in their academics. Our school is home to general, special, and gifted education programs. We have students ranging from one end of the spectrum to another. Our school's instructional focus is on our core set of values. This is where our students learn through respect, citizenship, trustworthiness, caring, and fairness.

My Project

Post it chart paper will allow my students to record their thinking and then have the opportunity to display their work around the classroom and hallway.

Students love walking around seeing their work displayed along with other classmate's work.

The envelopes will also help keep their thinking organized while they continue to demonstrate their knowledge on the project.

The ability to stay organized while continuing to learn is very important for my students. They have once place to go when they are ready to continue working on their projects. They also continue to learn as they walk around the room and school seeing other students' work displayed.
