This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The dancers of TCHS are a phenomenal group of 10th-12th graders who train daily to hone their skills. As students in a career technical education program, my students declare themselves as dance majors. These learners are physically expressive, socially conscious, and creative individuals. As a community we view education and art-making as tools for empowerment, self-reflection, and social change.

To authentically showcase our work within the school community and to prospective students, need a smart tv to display our work.

We hope to celebrate our students artistic and academic accomplishments, share announcements, showcase works in progress or formative assessments, and share summative or performance assessments. This will be especially helpful in demonstrating the work that takes place in our department.
