My students need several varieties and colors of paints, markers, and brushes in order to complete their hands-on project for Disney's Planet Challenge. This project will allow them to artistically design a bird house.

Help turn our wooden bird houses into ones with creative, artistic expression!
My students are eager learners of varying levels, ranging from potentially gifted as well as some who are below grade level in the area of reading.
This affects them with their comprehension, fluency and vocabulary. My school is a 100% free lunch eligible school due to the socioeconomic status of its students and their families. Students arrive as early as 6:00 am and leave as late as 5:30 pm.
My Project
My students are fortunate to participate in Disney's Planet Challenge. They are eager to do their best and have really taken a liking to the topic. They have taken their project to heart and have found compassion for their friends, the birds. Thanks to Disney's Planet Challenge, we got these great bird houses. In my hands-on work with Disney's Planet Challenge, they are designing incredible bird houses. They are wood and we would like to put the expression into it. Please help us with the paint!
This project is important to my 24 students who are participating in Disney's Planet Challenge.
This project will allow them to artistically design their bird house and add to our project. They are learning that they can make a difference, even to the life of one bird! It will make for an exciting hands on product that they can carry on into their homes and neighborhoods with pride!
