My Project
The first cycle for young girls can be very stressful but they do not have to be. The average girl gets their cycle between the ages of 10-12 however some girls experience it much sooner. At our school we are seeing that there are girls 8 and 9 years old starting to experience this life change and are unprepared for that change.
To be able to support these girls, we need to make sure that we have the supplies on hand to help with this change if it happens at school.
We don't want them to feel embarrassed so we would like to help make this an easier experience for them.
