This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students thrive on knowledge and are captivated by new and exciting experiences.
My classroom consists of 24 second grade students that are bright, curious about the world around them, and eager to learn.
The school they attend promotes lifelong learning through enrichment and differentiated instruction. They are highly motivated and always ready for a challenge.
My Project
My students would benefit from the Studies Weekly subscription because they would be provided with current, non-fiction text. Another benefit of the magazines are they contain a digit component where students can utilize their pads. They would be able to access QR codes to further enhance their depth of knowledge as well as links to explore virtual field trips.
Your donation to this project will provide students with the opportunity to explore the world right from their classroom.
Students will use these magazines as a springboard into cooperative groups to further enhance their learning.
