My Project
What we love about our students is the love they have for learning new things. Each student is special in their own way and bring a variety of skills to the table. These materials will let them learn new hands-on skills whether it be pouring water to measure with or using the shovels to dig holes to plant a garden outside of our classroom. The children will grow their tactile senses when feeling the water or running their hands through the dirt outside.
Our goal for the students with these materials is to work on prediction skills by doing a sink and float activity to describe what happens to different objects in the water using the water kits provided, the photo books help the children see themselves in a different point of view, they will get comfort being able to go to the shelf and grab their own photo book and look through it.
Our students will learn to be responsible and hopefully start to realize how beautiful nature can be and how much fun it can be to go outside and play.
The skills these materials will provide will last a life time and teach an important lesson along the way that we have to give back to this world and cherish all the memories we can make in nature with our kids.
