This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year I was lucky enough to begin an art club after school for students at my school. We have been busy creating works of art with watercolors, acrylic paints, and oil pastels.

We still have three months left in the school year, but are running low on a few supplies.

There are also a few supplies we need to create a few cumulative projects. We are in need of oil pastels to learn blending techniques. We are also planning a final project to create 3-D water lilies. My students have enjoyed relaxing time after school where they can use their imagination, be creative, and visit with friends. These supplies will help my students continue to discover their artistic abilities.
