My students are caring, fun, wistful and eager to learn. They share their knowledge and suggestions which motivates the whole class! Several students also have a sense of humor which eases the tension and creates various topics of discussion and makes it feel as though we are in a "real" classroom rather than virtual.
My Project
These materials will help my students to discover careers in a virtual textbook format. Our class/subject area does not have a standard textbook for organized learning. The material will help to provide knowledge related to the continued education that may be required, the salary, the working environment, the types of companies that employ people with knowledge about the things they enjoy doing such as: baking, helping other people, taking care of animals, planting flowers, money, biology, math, reading, art, computer games, clothes, being outdoors, writing, fixing things, watching T.V. and sports. They can actually have a career that they would love doing!
