My Project
My students live in a rural environment and the library serves an important role in providing reading materials for recreational reading and curriculum support for teachers.
Over half of our students come from economically disadvantaged households and we have immigrant students from Somalia and Mexico.
The school library media center serves the important purpose of providing resources for our students and teachers.
Having books about Haiku poetry stories for middle school students plays a crucial role in learning to choose precise words and imagery helps improve overall writing, vocabulary, and reading comprehension.
By having these books available it helps build a more inclusive society by giving students insight into other cultures literature.
By exploring literature it gives students an opportunity to appreciate literary traditions from around the world, encouraging global awareness and respect for other cultures in a creative way.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
