This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Every morning we begin our day with our rules and procedures to run a good class at school. Students know the meaning of classroom management and how effective it is for everyone. Teachers can work efficiently, and students are seeking learning experiences in every single lesson!
My students are the most diverse group of kids.
Most of my students belong to a Title I school and belong to the Latino Community, so my goal is to provide the best learning experiences, including math learning centers during our class time. It is a fact that my students are eager to achieve goals during this school year. Hence, they are beginning to set up high expectations to become great mathematicians, but most important, better global citizens.
I am requesting math resources like math cards, paper, and dominoes to apply everything I have learned in a math institute I attended during the summertime. I would like my student to develop math skills in gaining familiarity with factors and multiples, learning how to use the concept of place value up to millions, and the properties of operation to perform arithmetic and fractions. All these hands-on activities will lead my students to comprehend and solve problems involving all the mathematical practice strategies.
Be the right person who believes math is beyond numbers and if possible, support our project.
