My Students

It is hard to believe we have been learning at home for over a month now. I am providing online materials as well as learning packets since some students have access to technology and some don't. I helped students get iPads from our classroom if they had internet, but not all do. Some have access to books, but many don't have books at their reading level. Some parents are still working or are working from home. We will continue to do distant learning for the remainder of this school year.

My Project

Having these materials make it easier to teach my students, because it gives them the things they need at home to feel successful. The children need a dry erase board to practice writing words, sentences, and to complete math problems. We could use in in our virtual meetings as well as when they are completing tasks that have been assigned. The pencils will be used to complete enrichment packets. The children love to learn about animals. They would enjoy a step by step guide showing them how to draw 101 different animals.

Distant learning is a challenge, but my students are doing their best, and I am so proud of them.
