This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students have been asking to learn new sports. We researched together and found we were interested in learning to play Disc Gold and Badminton. These games will be taught as extracurricular activates.

When you sweat with a happy heart you build up a healthy you.

Badminton is a fun, active sport which is an easy game to practice with few painless rules. It boosts up your muscles, adds strength to the muscles, improves blood flow rate and the benefits are endless. Apart from physical health benefits there are mental advantages of playing badminton too. In Disc Golf the whole body is used, and the sport is good for mobility and flexibility. Throwing a disc is a natural motion, the sort of thing for which the body is designed. It feels good. Motivation to play is high, and the sport scores high for seemingly effortless exercise.
