My Students
Our students are a wonderful group that are engaged in new learning experiences everyday. They are always eager to learn in new and exciting ways.
Our "Pre-K Piglets come to the classroom each day with smiling faces
Since this is Pre-K, it is the first "big school" experience most of the students have ever had. We strive to make learning fun and hands on. We want to instill a love of school that will last each of them their entire school career.
My Project
Our Pre-K students need hands on experiences in order to learn. They use the sensory table to grow and develop their large and fine motor skills. In addition to the learning that takes place, the sensory table is FUN!
Once funded, this project will enable our students to use basic materials to explore; using dipping, scooping, sifting and pouring.
We would love to have materials such as rice, dry pasta, and sand, along with storage to hold the materials when we switch them out for the planned activities.
Our materials are non-consumable and can be used for classes throughout the years.
