My Project
In our school library, I try to model a love of reading, and display and feature books of all types. We don’t have a lot of dinosaur books, and the ones we have are wearing out from almost constant circulation. Some of the dinosaur books in the collection have a publication date as long ago as 1981. Some students will continue to check out a book until it is finally worn out, but there are many students who get so excited by the sight of a new book that just the sight of it will almost always spark an interest in reading.
I hope to make all of my students into lifelong readers.
I would love to display and feature these dinosaur books so the students can't miss them. I can just imagine the smiles I will see when these new dinosaur books are added to the collection.
