My Project

This project will fund a collection of tactile, visual, and interactive resources on dinosaurs and animals, including realistic figurines, sensory-friendly books, puzzles, and posters. With these tools, we’ll explore animal habitats, compare different species, and discover the fascinating world of dinosaurs! These resources will support my students in building language skills, motor skills, and social engagement through shared discovery and play.

The items I’m requesting—such as realistic dinosaur and animal figurines, sensory-friendly books, and interactive puzzles—will offer hands-on learning experiences that are crucial for young learners, especially those with special needs.

These resources will help my students make connections through touch, sight, and sound, aiding in comprehension and retention. The tactile experience of holding animal and dinosaur figures helps strengthen fine motor skills, while interactive puzzles and sensory play support focus, hand-eye coordination, and spatial awareness. By providing multisensory engagement, these items make abstract concepts, like the diversity of animals and their habitats, more concrete and accessible.
