Help me give my students access to digital learning. We use Apple TV to present lessons, a tablet will allow me to manipulate district apps and let the students draw on the screen.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Currently in our classroom we use an Apple TV to present lessons. Student use white board markers to edit and write on the screen.
Our classroom would greatly benefit from hands on learning with an iPad.
Our curriculums have so many options for whole group games and interactive lessons that are difficult to use/project on a computer.
I will use the iPad to present games and curriculum that the students and engage with and manipulate. My students are technology natives and want to get involved in the lesson. The students enjoy leading lessons and sharing their learning process. An iPad will allow my students to take a leading role in their education and use technology to learn.
More than a third of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
