My first grade students have been using their hands-on word work boards during their intervention and extension reading time! All students have a chance to manipulative letters/sounds and build their understanding of words and language. We have been using this in conjunction with our UFLI curriculum which is based on the Science of Reading.\r\n\r\nI have seen tremendous growth in all of our students as they work to understand and make sense of the reading code. They are soaring with their ability to read and comprehend!
