Digital Storytelling With All The Right Tools!

My students need these tools to maximize our digital learning and storytelling! The wood cubes, stools, and headphones will help us create personal sound booths. Additional items will be used to create a classroom recording studio.

My Students

My students are a group of early childhood students who love to LEARN! Our school is a Title 1 building, in suburban Kansas City, serving a high poverty population. Many of my students qualify for free and reduced lunches, Harvesters Back Snacks, clothing, dental, vision, and medical assistance.

My students are high-achievers, against many odds; they are readers, writers, illustrators, mathematicians, scientists, technology enthusiasts and THINKERS!

As their teacher, it is my priority is to provide a classroom model that builds an authentic, responsive, and creative environment that reflects the real world.

My Project

Our school is new to the 1:1 technology world and we are rocking it! The integration of technology is purposefully imbedded into my instruction. My classroom environment supports the philosophy of meeting students where they are and everyone getting what they need.

This project creates more digital possibilities for our classroom.

These supplies will allow my students to tell their stories, in a personal sound booth or classroom recording studio. We will be creating personal sound booths with the requested cubes, stools, and headphones. We will also be setting up a classroom recording studio using the requested racks. The additional items will be used for storage, organization, and technology integration.
