Digital Projects, Portfolios, and Skills for 4th Graders
Help me give my students an iPad so they can create their digital projects and portfolios.
This project expired on March 13, 2019.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
I have an incredible group of students. They are enthusiastic, kind, and excited to learn. They are developing a growth mindset and every day are eager to "flex their brain muscles"!
While some of my students have access to technology and enrichment activities at home, not all are that fortunate.
What they have in common is their love of learning and their positive outlook towards education. Everyday they are asking questions about and making connections to topics we are learning inside the classroom.
I am requesting an iPad for my students to use. We use an app called ClassDojo. One of the features of ClassDojo is that students can upload pictures and videos of their work. Currently, I am using my personal cell phone to take all the pictures and videos.
With the iPad, students will be able to create their portfolio by themselves.
While they are excited when I post a picture or video, imagine the satisfaction they will get when they are able to create and post their own content. In addition, they will be able to learn other digital skills, such as movie making.
