This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are enthusiastic about technology and taking pictures with their cell phones. Although cell phones are not allowed during the school instructional time, students always find a way to get their phones out and start recording. I would like to introduce my students to digital photography and the science behind it. They will learn about lighting effects, different angles to get best results, how to manipulate the tech devices to eliminate shadows, and how to record properly.
This equipment will be a fantastic way to teach students more productive aspects of technology.
Students will be given the task of taking pictures for the school yearbook and will not have to rely on their cell phones. To keep all the equipment properly organized we would like a trolley. This will help us to be a mobile photography unit throughout the school.
