This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I would like to do digital music projects in my music classes by allowing students to use digital resources to explore sound and how music is created.
The students have chromebooks provided through the school, but many of them do not have headphones.
Because of this, they are unable to work within digital music programs in a quiet environment. This affects they way they hear the music they're creating as well as their ability to focus on the task they're completing.
Each student having a crayon box will help make sure all students have the colors they need without wasting limited and valuable class time sorting out specific colors to be able to show they understand topics in a fun way. The poster board will allow students to present the information they've learned in a more engaging and interactive manner
Music is an important part of how people connect with each other and their communities. Being able to teach these lessons to my students will help them become more engaged and invested in their own musical experience.
